Your account
You must first register for certain parts of our service. You will then need to provide information about yourself and choose a username. We will then create an account into which you can log in with that username and a password of your choice. For this we use your:

• Ship details;
• E-mail address;
• Calling or chosen nickname (the so-called Nickname);
• IP address;
• Name and address details.

By registering you grant permission to store and use this data as stated in this privacy statement. We store this information until you cancel the account. We store this information so that you do not have to enter it again and again at the service and so that we can contact you more easily if necessary. You can change information via your account whenever you want.

Providing to third parties
We work with certain companies that may receive your personal data mentioned above from us.

You can ask us questions or make requests using the contact form. For this we use your:

Take out a subscription
If you take out a paid subscription with our Ship Assist service, we use your personal data to process the payment. For this we use your:

By taking out a paid subscription you give permission to use your data for this purpose. We store this information until you cancel the subscription. We keep data for which a legal retention obligation applies for as long as the retention obligation applies.

To process orders we work together with:

• Our payment provider Mollie.

Access portal/App
Our portal gives you access to a management environment where you can set, specify and change things for the service yourself. We keep track of what you have done and when, so that we can trace this in case of problems. For this we use your:

• Calling or chosen nickname (the so-called Nickname);
• IP address.

By using our portal you give permission for this. We store this information until the end of the service to you.

Location data
For some functions of our Ship Assist service it is necessary to find out where you are. We will then ask separately whether we can know this and only if you give permission will we receive this information.

For this service we use the navigation and location functions of your phone, tablet or computer. We have no control over what the makers of this software (such as Google or Apple) do with it. So always read their privacy statements.

Provision to other companies or institutions
With the exception of the parties necessary to provide the services mentioned above, we do not provide your personal data to other companies or institutions under any circumstances, unless we are legally obliged to do so (for example if the police require this in the event of a suspicion of a crime). ).

Statistics
We keep statistics about the use of our service.

Cookies
Our service uses cookies. Cookies are small files in which we can store information, so that you do not have to enter it every time. But it also allows us to see that you are visiting us again.
